I feel like life is slipping through my fingers. That no-one can see me anymore. My desperate cries go unheard. I matter not to anyone, nor to myself. Yet I keep on going. Why? Because if I fall here, I shall never stand again. If I leave, I know I'll never survive. I can barely hold back the tears anymore. The false smiles, the cheerful hellos, they can't cover up my scars. My life was looking good, and now it's falling apart. Everyone I know is leaving.....

One of my best friends said she'd beat me up if I was depressed again. Honestly, I don't care. Bring it on. I dare you. Just try to hurt me. It'll do me some good, anyways. Besides, true friends don't hurt eachother.

This same person also calls me ugly, stupid, and fat. I'll have you know that I am most definitely NOT any of those. In fact, I bet you that I am smarter than her, weather she likes it or not. She also told me that if I ever get in the way of something she wants, shell make sure I don't have a leg to stand on.

My OTHER friend ignores me. She doesn't care that I'm screaming out to her. She doesn't notice the tears I try so hard to hold back. She's like a sister to me, and yet she tells me that she's going to die.

Tell me all you want that these things aren't true. Try to convince me that I have nothing to be sad about. Try me. You can't hide these truths. You can try, if you wish, but it is impossible.
